<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing machine in which a packing member for connecting a water tank with a clothing pickup port can be firmly fixed. <P>SOLUTION: A packing member 16 is provided with a projected portion 16b larger than a gap between a front plate 13 and a panel member 7, so that the packing member is not removed even when being pulled by strong force toward a side of a rotating drum 4.
