An apparatus for processing a redundantly-reported notification is also disclosed by the invention, which includes: a configuration module, for configuring a unique identifier for a received notification according to an encrpytion algorithm, and saving the identifier; a first discarding module, for discarding the notification if the identifier is existing. The main object of the invention is to provide the method and apparatus for processing the redundantly-reported notification, which can make the notification unique, effectively improve the processing efficiency of the reported notification, avoid the repeated notification and invalid notification to be reported, and reduce the amount of reported notifications.
