<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ventilation fan preventing intrusion of rain water into a room without caulking a gap in the upper part of an outdoor hood. <P>SOLUTION: A ventilation fan 50 is to be installed in an opening of a board-like member that separates the indoor side from the outdoor side, and the ventilation fan includes: a ventilation flow generating device generating a ventilation flow passing through the opening of an aluminum panel; an outdoor hood 8 formed by joining a plurality of parts together; a fixing frame 10 in substantially a frame shape larger than the opening of the aluminum panel, the fixing frame to which the ventilation flow generating device is fixed to one face side and the outdoor hood 8 is fixed to the other face side; plate mounting metal fittings 11, 12 arranged in the upper part and the lower part of the other face of the fixing frame 10 so as to hold the aluminum panel between the metal fittings and the fixing frame 10 where the outdoor hood 8 is inserted in the opening of the aluminum panel from the indoor side; and a cover 40 mounted on the opening of the aluminum panel and covering the fixing frame 10 and the plate mounting metal fittings 11, 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
