<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly tasty packaged carbonated beverage suppressed in blowing when producing a carbonated beverage or opening a tap for drinking, having smooth bubbles hardly disappearing even when suppressing blowing, and retaining bubble popping feeling of excellent quality, and to provide a method for producing the beverage. <P>SOLUTION: This highly tasty packaged carbonated beverage which is suppressed in blowing when producing a carbonated beverage or opening a tap for drinking, and retains bubble popping feeling is produced by using together and adding antifoaming agent, and 0.01-0.5 wt.% foaming agent based on the total amount of the beverage to a carbonated beverage raw material when producing the carbonated beverage by forcedly feeding carbon dioxide gas. The packaged carbonated beverage is applicable to the case of a plastic packaged carbonated beverage, such as PET bottle, conventionally difficult to apply because of having a problem of difficult filling when producing a beverage, and a remarkable problem of blowing when drinking.
