<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of distributing overheated steam over the whole rice in a pot by loading steam of atmospheric pressure or higher into the pot, and capable of deliciously boiling the rice at stable temperature and without drying the rice. <P>SOLUTION: A steam overheating means 15 increases the temperature of steam generated from a steam generating means 24 for generating steam, and generates overheated steam by increasing the pressure and flow velocity of the steam. The overheated steam generated by the steam overheating means 15 is discharged into the pot 2. Since the steam can pass through a steam channel 45 with a helical configuration composed of a plurality of fins 43 in the steam overheating means 15, the overheated steam can be distributed to the whole rice in the pot, and the rice cooker which can deliciously boil the rice at stable steam temperature can be provided. Further, the steam temperature can be stabilized by the steam overheating means, and it is not necessary to increase the temperature of a heating plate too high, and therefore, uneven boiling is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
