The invention relates to a printing assembly for a press, in particular for a rotary printing press, wherein the printing assembly is designed to cooperate with at least one die of the press during operation of the press, such that the at least one die compresses material located in a receptacle. The printing assembly comprises a force measuring device for measuring the force exerted on the printing assembly by the at least one die, wherein at least one section of the printing assembly can be moved between a closed operating position and an open maintenance position.
