<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a camera control unit may perform an unexpected operation by reception of an error response to a control command according to a protocol which a client connected to an imaging apparatus uses. <P>SOLUTION: A communication processing section 206 of the camera control unit 100 receives the control command from the client. When control corresponding to the received control command cannot be performed due to a prescribed error and the control command is received from the client using the protocol in which the prescribed error is defined, a CPU 211 transmits an error response to the client, and transmits a reception response to the client when the control corresponding to the received control command cannot be performed due to the prescribed error and the control command is received from the client using the protocol in which the prescribed error is not defined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
