PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joystick type switch device capable of permanently imparting an excellent operation feel to a knob manually operated by an operator. SOLUTION: A fixed shaft 11a provided in a lower case 11 is tiltably held with a second tilting member 19 for operating a tilting detection switch. An upper part of the second tilting member 19 is disposed with a tilting moderation member comprising a first slider 23 slid by the tilting shaft 19, a drive rod 27 abutted on the lower face of the first slider 23, and a spring 28 always energizing the drive rod 27 to the first slider 23 side. The lower face of the first slider 23 is formed with a petaloid operation feel impartment part 52, and the first slider 23 is slid according to the tilting of the second tilting member 19 to change an engagement position of the drive rod 25 and respective recessed parts 52a, 52b constituting the operation feel impartment part 52.
