An endovascular introducer (10) includes a handle assembly (12), a stent graft deployment device (14) and a stent graft (16) retained on the stent graft deployment device. The handle assembly (10) has a first part (18) and a second part (20), the second part being movable relative to the first part. The first part (18) has a fixed portion (22) to be gripped and held by a user and a rotatable portion (24) to be rotated. A one way clutch arrangement (28) transfers rotation to co-acting first screw threads so that relative longitudinal motion between the first part and the second part occurs. The deployment device (14) has a pusher assembly (34) and a sheath (36) to cover the stent graft on the pusher assembly. The sheath (36) is connected to the second part so that rotation of the rotatable portion causes retraction of the sheath.
