<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus which permits high quality ultrasonographic images to be obtained while restraining an increase in the internal temperature of an ultrasound probe. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes a receiving and amplifying section arranged in the ultrasound probe and having an amplifier amplifying reception signals output from a vibrator array, a switching means for switching the electric current value of bias electric current supplied to the amplifier, and a selector switch provided in the ultrasonic probe and performing the switching operation of the electric current value by the switching means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
