<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of an engine-driven rice transplanter comprising a narrow empty space in an engine room in a hood in the case of placing a marker-selection lever, etc., in the hood to cause increase of production cost and deterioration of maintainability by the lowering of designing freedom because the marker-selection lever, etc., to perform planting operation is connected to an operating object in a coupled manner through a mechanical link mechanism requiring a large installation space. <P>SOLUTION: The rice transplanter 1 driven by an engine 6 includes a cross lever 52 to transmit and receive electric signals to a controller 46 for electrically controlling the operating objects of the rice transplanter 1 comprising a planting part 3, a planting clutch 33 and line-drawing markers 40L, 40R.
