PURPOSE: A sintered alloy for a valve seat with wear resistance and self-lubricating characteristics is provided to ensure improved high-temperature lubricating characteristics and high radial crushing load for application to a valve seat of a vehicle engine. CONSTITUTION: A sintered alloy for a valve seat with wear resistance and self-lubricating characteristics comprises C of 0.4-1.0wt.%, Ni of 1.0-5.0wt.%, Cr of 2.0-6.0wt.%, Mo of 7.0-15.0wt.%, Co of 0-3.0wt.%, Si of 0.1-0.5wt.%, MnS of 0.4-1.5wt.%, and Fe of the remaining amount. The average particle size of the sintered alloy is 45-180Mm. |
