<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device, an authentication system, an authentication method, and a program, which enable a portable terminal to realize a matrix authentication eliminating switching of screens while suppressing an increase in a load levied on a user. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication device 20, for performing a matrix authentication for a portable terminal 10 as a target, includes: an information reception part 21 for receiving input of plural characters assigned as marks indicating individual orientations of the portable terminal 10 from the portable terminal 10; a matrix generation part 22 for generating a matrix specifying the orientation of the portable terminal by grid, and fitting an assigned character to each grid of the matrix with the character arranged to an orientation specified by each respective grid to convert the matrix into a character string; and an authentication process part 23 for generating data for displaying the character string obtained by the conversion on an input form of the portable terminal 10, and transmitting the data to the portable terminal 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
