<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film-shaped external preparation composition that stably contains at high concentration an amino acid-based medicinal ingredient as an active ingredient, and that efficiently supplies the active ingredient to the skin. <P>SOLUTION: The film-shaped external preparation composition comprises an effective amount of the amino acid-based medicinal ingredient, and a film-forming agent. Also, in the film-shaped external preparation composition, the amino acid-based medicinal ingredient is preferably glycylglycine and/or d-glutamic acid.
