<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supported dry terminating portion that can be self-supported on an assembling pole of an outdoor high-voltage distribution line even when the conductor of a cable is small in size and is lightweight, easy to assemble, and of low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The self-supported dry terminating portion 1 is constructed of: a flexible insulating layer 3 having a cable insertion hole portion 9 into which an end of a cable 7 having a cable insulator 13 covering an internal conductor 11 is inserted; a terminal portion 19 provided integrally with one end of the cable insertion hole portion 9 to be connected with the internal conductor 11 in the end of the cable insulator 13 inserted into the cable insertion hole portion 9; a stress cone 23 that is formed in the shape of cylinder into which the cable insulator 13 can be inserted and is integrally provided in the insulating layer 3 so that it is exposed in the inner circumferential surface of the cable insertion hole portion 9; and an electrically insulating and rigid resin tube 25 for self support integrally provided in the thick intermediate portion of the insulating layer 3 so that it is extended in the direction of the axial line of the insulating layer 3 and is not extended to the terminal portion 19 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
