<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the driving of a diaphragm blade in an iris diaphragm. <P>SOLUTION: A lens barrel includes a diaphragm member which drives a diaphragm blade to thereby change the size of a diaphragm aperture for adjusting the amount of light incident upon an image pickup device and a stopping member which, after the diaphragm blade is driven, stops the driving of the diaphragm blade so that the size of the diaphragm aperture becomes a desired size, using a special fluid of which viscosity can be adjusted by application of voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
