<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery in which removal of air bubbles generated in a stacked electrode body is promoted to improve battery performance with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A battery 1 includes a stacked electrode body 6 in which a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate are stacked with a separator 5 in between, an electrolytic solution or electrolyte, a first electrode terminal connected electrically to the first electrode plate, and a second electrode terminal connected electrically to the second electrode plate. It further includes a battery can in which the electrolytic solution or electrolyte and the stacked electrode body 6 are stored in a sealed manner, and a throttling part which is formed between the stacked electrode body and the battery can in such manner as integral with or separate from the battery can, with its thickness gradually decreasing as advances in throttling direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
