COATING APPLICATOR AND METHOD FOR COATING APPLICATION LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating applicator, capable of easily and surely executing calibration operation of a flowmeter, and a method for coating application liquid using the same.

SOLUTION: A container 53 preliminarily storing application liquid is placed on an electronic balance 54. A lid body 56 is disposed on the container 53. The lid body 56 is connected to a chamber 55 through a connecting member 58, and disposed at a position separated from the upper end of the container 53 by a slight distance. The tip of a calibration branch pipe is connected to a metallic thin tube 57. The metallic thin tube 57 is inserted to the container 53 and dipped in the application liquid stored in the container 53. The electronic balance 54 measures the weight of the container 53 and the application liquid stored therein.
