<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an energy absorbing capacity of a beam end of a reinforced concrete beam. <P>SOLUTION: Even when the property of adhesion of a main reinforcement 42 to concrete Q is deteriorated because a reinforced concrete beam 50 becomes shear-cracked, a corrugated steel plate 100 is laterally expanded/contracted (repeatedly and plastically deformed) like an accordion so that energy for centrifugal distortion of a plastic hinge part of a beam end 52 can be absorbed. Thus, an energy absorbing capacity of the beam end 52 is improved in comparison with a constitution in which the corrugated steel plate 100 is not joined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
