The connection (1) has a locking device comprising a plug (10) with a plug connection housing (11), and a socket (20) i.e. mounting socket, which is provided with a socket housing (21) and plugged with the plug. A locking clip is rotatably mounted at the socket housing by a hinge and transferred from a locking position to an unlocking position. A control and/or locking arm is provided at the plug connection housing and locked with the locking cam. A flexible connection unit is provided between the clip and the socket housing and designed as a flexible rope or wire (45).
