MANAGEMENT DEVICE, MEASURING DEVICE, CONTAINER FOR TEST STRIPS, AND MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR TEST STRIPS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device which properly maintains storage conditions for chemical-applied test strips.

SOLUTION: A medium storing information on expiration date of test strips is disposed on a container. A meter 1 is provided with an IC tag reader 123 which reads tag information from an IC tag, storing the information on expiration date, disposed on the test strip container. The IC tag reader 123 is positioned such that the tag information is unreadable when the container is closed but is readable when the container is open by an opening mechanism of the meter 1 for releasing a locking mechanism of the container. The meter 1 comprises: a date determination part 509 which determines whether the test strips stored in the container for test strips are expired or not by comparing the date when the opening mechanism is released with the expiration date included in the read tag information; and a display 11 for displaying the determination result.
