摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of avoiding displacement between coils during an incoming call in non-contact charging. <P>SOLUTION: A charging system performs predetermined authentication processing between a battery charger 101 and electronic equipment 100 before starting non-contact charging. When determined to be executable according to the result of the authentication, electric power for charging is transmitted from the battery charger 101 to the electronic equipment 100. When a call arrival mode of the electronic equipment 100 is a vibration mode by means of a vibrator, communication between the electronic equipment 100 and the battery charger 101 is detected, and the vibration mode by means of the vibrator is turned off, thus permitting a change to other call arrival mode. By switching the vibration mode by means of the vibrator upon detection of the communication, the vibration caused by the vibrator can be avoided not only during charging, but also when communication is made during non-charging.
