<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present effective information included in text information of a mail to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A mail server 100 and clients 10a-10n are connected through a network 50. When the mail server 100 detects a quoted mail which quotes a part of text information of a mail from the client 10, it associates a corresponding part of the text information quoted to the quoted mail, a quotation frequency, a person who quoted to the quoted mail and a transmission destination with one another to store them. When the mail server 100 receives a browsing request of a quotation frequency of a mail from the client 10, it associates a corresponding part of text information of the mail, a quotation frequency, a person who quoted and a transmission destination with one another to display them.
