<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask device for shot blast and a mask method that can manufacture a working component of high quality by reducing chipping, crack and the like generated at an end part of a component to be worked on shot blast working. <P>SOLUTION: In the mask device for shot blast provided with a masking member 12 covering an outer circumferential end surface or an inner peripheral end surface of a working member 10 when shot blast working is performed by jetting a blast material 22 on the surface of working member 10 from a jetting nozzle 20 of a shot blast working device, a covered end surface of the masking member 12 has an inclined cross section of a prescribed angle and the masking member 12 is disposed so that an upper side end part of the covered end surface of the masking member 12 may cover an upper side end part of the outer circumferential end surface or the inner peripheral end surface of the working member 10 on shot blast working. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
