<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device which does not need a redundant write operation of non-selected data and can optimize arrangement of a page in an efficient status for rewriting. <P>SOLUTION: A storage device comprises: flash memories 35 and 36 of two chips accessible in parallel; a page register 32 which acquires and stores temporarily data in parallel from the flash memories 35 and 36; and a control circuit 34 including a RAM 37 built with an address translation table which manages comparison with a logical address and a physical address by a data unit stored in parallel to the page register 32.
