<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cell unit, an atomic oscillator and an electronic apparatus that implement improved frequency accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A gas cell unit 2 includes a gas cell 21 filled with a gaseous alkali metal atom, and a heater 22 for heating the gas cell 21. The heater 22 includes a heating resistor 222 including a plurality of strip portions 222a disposed in parallel with each other. The directions of current through two adjacent strip portions 222a are opposite to each other to cancel or mitigate opposite magnetic fields generated with energization of the plurality of strip portions 222a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
