摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device for a vehicle transmission capable of reducing the number of detection means. <P>SOLUTION: A copper piece 112 and an iron piece 114 integrally moved together with a shift lever 20 are provided opposed to each other in the select-operating direction, and detection coils 84-92 of proximity sensors 82-90 are provided in an aligned condition in the shift operating direction between the copper piece 112 and the iron piece 114. When the shift lever 20 is subjected to the select operation to a left shift hole 62 side, the copper piece 112 is brought close to the detection coils 84-92. When the shift lever is subjected to the right shift hole 64 side, the iron piece 114 is brought close to the detection coils 84-92. When the copper piece 112 and the iron piece 114 are brought close to the detection coils 84-92, the high frequency magnetic field formed around the detection coils 84-92 is changed. The changes of the high frequency magnetic field are different between a case in which the copper piece 112 is brought close to the detection coil 84-92 and a case in which the iron piece 114 is brought close to the detection coils 84-92, and the position of the shift levers 20 of larger number can be detected by the proximity sensors 82-90 of smaller number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
