<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner that can extend lifetime of a filter element by suppressing static charge of a dust exhaust part and reducing an amount of dust reaching to the filter element. <P>SOLUTION: An outer cylinder 13 of a pre-cleaner 12 is penetrated to be supported to an opening part 11a of a housing 11 constituting an air cleaner 10. A swirl flow generating device 14 is fixed to an outer end part of the outer cylinder 13, and wings 15 are arranged inside the outer cylinder to centrifuge dust by generating swirl flow of air. An inlet duct 16 for sucking air including the dust is attached to the swirl flow generating device 14. An inner cylinder 17 is supported inside the outer cylinder 13, and a dust cup 20 constituting a dust exhaust part 19 is attached to an outer lower surface of the outer cylinder 13 and a dust exhaust valve 21 is integrally formed to a lower end thereof.
