The arrangement has a covering wing (8) extending between two oppositely lying walls of a boiler above an afterburning grate with a distance to the grate. The covering wing is displaceable from a position releasing a boiler cross-section into a position closing the boiler cross-section. The covering wing is rotational fixedly connected with a pivot axle (7). An inclination of the covering wing is adjusted relative to a cross-sectional plane of the boiler over the pivot axle. The pivot axle of the covering wing is rotational fixedly connected with an actuating lever (11) at an end.
