The method involves receiving (S1) the data comprising user data and automation data, by using a user data protocol. A security module (104) is provided for detecting whether output of the received data by the control system component (100) is allowed. The data is blocked (S4) by the security module, if the output of received data is allowed or not. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) control system component for automation network; (2) automation network; and (3) computer program product for performing communication process in automation network.
