PURPOSE: A lamp control system and method are provided to automatically set an illumination value of an LED lamp using weather forecast information and status information of natural light. CONSTITUTION: A state information receiving part(120) receives maximum power consumption information from a power consumption amount measurement server. A mode setting part(130) sets an automatic mode or a manual mode. An automatic illuminance set value calculation unit(140) calculates a day illuminance set value using an illuminance set value saved in a memory unit(170). The automatic illuminance set value calculation unit calculates the day illuminance set value using one or more illuminance set values which are set beforehand. The automatic illuminance set value calculation unit calculates the day illuminance set value using sunrise and sunset time information.
