<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input characters even to an electronic apparatus in which a display unit is limited in size such as a mobile phone by easy operation from a touch panel provided to the display unit. <P>SOLUTION: Respective characters ("A, Ka, Sa"/"Ta, Na, Ha"/"Ma, Ya, Ra"/"Wa") in an "A" column (in a Japanese syllabary) are allocated to respective preset character input frames and displayed. When one of the character input frames where the respective characters in the "A" column are displayed is pressed, remaining characters ("I, U, E, O") in a character row containing the character displayed in the pressed character input frame are displayed in character input frames adjacent to the pressed character input frame without reference to whether there is a character being already displayed, and when depression of the character input frame is released after being pressed, the character ("O") displayed in the character input frame, pressed right before the depression of the character input frame is released, is determined as an input character. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
