<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inexpensively manufacturing a belt for electrophotography which is formed of a resin composition containing thermoplastic resin, and has a high-quality seamless shape with an excellent surface property and shape accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a belt for electrophotography using a manufacturing device includes: a process in which a molten body is extruded from an annular die in a clearance between opposite end parts of first and second cylinders and the resin composition is connected from the annular die to the clearance; a process in which the resin composition is sandwiched by the opposite end parts and communication of gas in the cylinders is shut off; a process in which a cylindrical layer is formed on an inner wall of the first cylinder; a process in which gas is filled in a space formed by at least an inner surface of the cylindrical layer and the inner wall of the second cylinder and the cylindrical layer is tightly attached to the inner wall of the first cylinder; a process in which a sealed space is formed on an inner side of the cylindrical layer; a process in which the gas is filled in the sealed space and the cylindrical layer is further tightly attached to the inner wall of the first cylinder; and a process in which the cylindrical layer is solidified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
