PURPOSE: A CIGS compound based thin film solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve conductivity and adhesion by using molybdenum with high conductivity. CONSTITUTION: A stress reducing layer(15) is formed on a substrate(10) and includes titanium or chrome. A rear electrode layer(20) is formed on the stress reducing layer. A light absorbing layer(30) is formed on the rear electrode layer. A front electrode layer(40) is formed on the light absorbing layer.
