<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit capable of easily carrying out registration of an imaging element and an emission side prism and separation after the registration while becoming thinner as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging unit includes: a hollow housing 16; an imaging optical system having an emission side prism LP2 for emitting imaging light proceeding in the longitudinal direction of the housing toward an opening side of the housing; an imaging element 69 having an imaging surface facing an emission surface of the emission side prism; a spacer 23 projecting on the housing or on a fixed member immobile to the housing for forming a space between the emission surface and the imaging surface by abutting with the imaging element; and a cover member 76 fixed to the housing in a state of sealing the opening and at the same time pressing the imaging element in a direction abutting with the spacer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
