COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system solving a time-slot shortage for communication between a road and a car or between the cars and conducting stable radio communication.

SOLUTION: A communication system comprises a plurality of road-side communication devices installed along a road and a plurality of in-vehicle communication devices loaded to a plurality of cars travelling on the road respectively. In the communication system, a plurality of time slots are allocated for radio communication by a time division multiple access system respectively between road-side communication devices, between in-vehicle communication devices and between the road-side communication devices and the in-vehicle communication devices. The road-side communication devices comprise: acquiring means for acquiring information indicating at least one of the traffic of the cars and communication traffic of the in-vehicle communication devices; and changing means for changing allocation of the time slots in response to at least one of traffic indicated by traffic information acquired by the acquiring means and the communication traffic.
