Provided is a method for decreasing cell load by way of Coordinated Multiple Point (CoMP) technology, including: when the cell load reaches a preset value, selecting User Equipment (UE); when the cell is the dominant cell of a CoMP cell set of the UE, changing the coordinated cell of the UE to the dominant cell; when the cell is a coordinated cell of the CoMP cell set of the UE, quitting the CoMP cell set of the UE; and deleting the UE. Also provided is an Evolved NodeB (eNodeB). The application of the present invention can decrease the cell load without affecting the quality of service of the UE service. |
