<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely transmit information collected by a sensor node and mitigate influence of increase in power consumption in a processing except a sensing processing. <P>SOLUTION: A processing for initializing and updating a pseudo random number sequence used for encryption at a sensor node is executed only at a power-on time, at the time of charging and power feeding by an external power source, or when the residual quantity of the battery is sufficient.
