<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED electric bulb capable of performing both heat radiation countermeasures concerning heat radiation from an electric bulb case (outer hull member) and heat transfer from a base by effectively releasing a calorific value generated at an LED mounting section to a base without enlarging a surface area of the electric bulb case (outer hull member) and effectively suppressing a temperature rise of the LED mounting section. <P>SOLUTION: In a lighting device including the board, light-emitting elements arranged at one surface side of the board, the outer hull member, and the base, the outer hull member is formed of a thermally conductive member. The board is arranged so as to come in contact with an upper part of the outer hull member.
