METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING A CONTROL SIGNALING

Methods and apparatus for sending or receiving a control signaling. A base station (BS) sends a control signaling to a terminal. The state on a specific field in the control signaling is used to indicate the payload size, and the default value of the redundancy version (RV) applies. The BS receives an initial transmission of a data packet from the terminal. If however the field of the control signaling only indicates a RV, then the BS will receive a retransmission of the data packet from the terminal. A corresponding procedure will take place in the terminal. ( Fig.3 )
