Provided is a toothed belt having favorable durability even in high temperature, high load environments and oil- or water-contacting environments. The toothed belt (10) is provided with a belt main body (13) configured from a tooth rubber section (11) and a back rubber section (12). The surface of the tooth rubber section (11) is covered by a tooth fabric (20). The tooth fabric (20) has been RFL treated and the outer surface (21) thereof has been covered by the curing product of a first epoxy resin. The softening point of the curing product of the first epoxy resin is, for example, at least 110°C, and the epoxy equivalent weight of the first epoxy resin is, for example, 100-1500 g/eq. Alternatively, the tooth fabric (20) contains a second epoxy resin, a curing agent for curing the second epoxy resin, and a rubber component, and has been impregnation-processed by a processing agent. |
