PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light energy reuse type display device, a light-emitting device, and an illuminating device with a small power consumption that can convert radiation light from a light source (including light emission from a light-emitting element) into power with efficiency.

SOLUTION: A light energy reuse type display device, a light-emitting device, and an illuminating device with a small power consumption that can convert radiation light from a light source (including light emission from a light-emitting element) into power with efficiency can be achieved by holding a photoelectric conversion element between a pair of substrates and functioning the photoelectric conversion element as a color filter (a colored layer).
