<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cable from being pulled out from a vehicle illegally by a person, thereby preventing the vehicle from being stolen. <P>SOLUTION: This power management system 1 supplies electric power between a power management device 5 and a vehicle 7 via a cable 3. The power management device 5 includes a communication unit for performing communication with the vehicle 7 via the cable 3, and the vehicle 7 includes: a driving control unit for controlling the starting drive of the vehicle 7; a communication unit for establishing communication with the communication unit via the cable 3 to connect the vehicle 7 and the power management device 5 in communication; and a determination unit for determining whether communication is normally terminated through a predetermined processing procedure or not when the communication with the communication unit is terminated. While the vehicle is supplied with electric power from the power management device via the cable, the driving control means inhibits the starting drive of the vehicle, and when the first determination means determines that the termination is not normal, the driving control means keeps the starting drive of the vehicle inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
