<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain intervals of a plurality of fins to a predetermined interval. <P>SOLUTION: A heat exchanger (30) includes a plurality of flat tubes (33) and a plurality of fins (36) into which the flat tubes (33) are inserted in an orthogonal direction. The fins (36) comprise a fin body (36a) and the mounting part (36b) of the flat tubes (33). An insertion region (40) for the flat tubes (33) and an extension region (41) in the leeward side of the insertion region (40) are formed in the fin body (36a). Spacers (48) for maintaining the interval of each fin (36) are formed by cutting and raising a part of the fins (36) in both of the insertion region (40) and the extension region (41). The spacer (48) in the extension region (41) is positioned directly behind and in a leeward side of the spacer (48) in the insertion region (40).
