PURPOSE: A welding machine and a wire feeder are provided to reduce the failure rate of a single cable by reducing the number of control wiring in the single cable. CONSTITUTION: A welding machine comprises a welder and a wire feeder. A welder side control circuit is connected through control wiring to a feeder side control circuit(220) in the wire feeder. The control wiring includes an insulated conductor for delivery of feeder supply voltage, an insulated conductor for receiving a welding voltage adjusting signal, an OV common insulated conductor, and an insulated conductor for receiving an output signal. The feeder side control circuit comprises a motor driving circuit, a torch switch, an inching switch, a solenoid valve, a welding voltage volume, and a sequence circuit.
