A METHOD FOR PRODUCING PANCREAS β LIKE CELLS FROM ADULT STEM CELLS

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of pancreas beta similar cells from adult stem cells is provided to maximize efficiencies of differentiation by consecutively applying a step by step differentiating method. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of pancreas beta similar cells from adult stem cells comprises the following steps: differentiating the adult stem cell by cultivating the adult stem cells in the culture medium including the activin -A; and differentiating into a pancreas beta similar cell by culturing the differentiated cell in a culture medium including KGF(Keratinocyte Growth Factor) and let differentiate to the pancreas beta similar cell. The culture mediums of the first and the second steps are the invitrogen mediums which do not include the respective blood serum. The first differentiation step comprises the following: cultivating in a medium including activin -A and sodium butyrate; and cultivating in the culture medium which includes the activin -A and bovine serum albumin.
