摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Cu-free, Zr-based metal glass alloy that has a large amorphous-forming ability and is excellent in mechanical properties, workability and corrosion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The Cu-free, Zr-based metal glass alloy includes a composition represented by the formula: Zr<SB POS="POST">75-x-y-z</SB>Al<SB POS="POST">x</SB>Ni<SB POS="POST">y-a</SB>M<SB POS="POST">z</SB>B<SB POS="POST">a</SB>(wherein x and y satisfy the relations: 10&le;x&le;19 and 15&le;y&le;28, respectively; M is Nb or Ta; z satisfies the relation: 0<z&le;8; B is Fe or Co; and a satisfies the relation: 0&le;a&le;8). The Cu-free, Zr-based metal glass alloy has a &Delta;Tx of &ge;50K, a ratio (Tg/T1) of >0.54 and a &gamma; value of &ge;0.38, is in a rod shape with a diameter of &ge;2 mm and has compression fracture strength of &ge;1,650 MPa. The Cu-free, Zr-based metal glass alloy is superior to conventional ternary to penternary Zr-based metal glass alloys in terms of resistance to corrosion against HCl and NaCl solutions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
