<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a stroller that allows only the wheels on the front side in the advancing direction to be turnable around a vertical axis in both cases of pushing a baby stroller with hands from the back of a baby and pushing the stroller with hands while facing a baby. <P>SOLUTION: Each vertically-slidable lock member 47a, 47b is provided at the side part of each caster holder fixed to the lower part of each front leg 12 and each rear leg 14. Each recess 45a, 45b is formed in each caster shaft so that each lock member is selectively engaged with each recess when each front wheel 11 or each rear wheel 13 faces the straight advancing direction. Each lead wire 50a, 50b is inserted into each front leg and each rear leg while one ends of both lead wires are respectively connected to each lock member on the front leg side and the rear leg side. Each lock switching operation member 54 is slidably attached to each front leg. Each lead wire inserted into each front leg and each rear leg is connected to each connecting tool 51 vertically movable together with the lock switching operation member 54 in each front leg. Each connecting tool is connected to each lock switching operation member by each shaft inserted to a long groove of each front leg. The sliding of each lock switching operation member 54 allows each lock member 47a, 47b on the front wheel side or on the rear wheel side to be selectively engaged with each recess 45a, 45b provided in the corresponding caster shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
