<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of stably manufacturing a multilayer polyimide based film with few defects of a foreign matter of a film or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a polyimide based multilayer film that includes two or more resin layers containing polyimide, includes: (1) a multilayer liquid film forming process in which two or more resin solutions containing polyimide or a precursor thereof are used and a multilayer liquid film comprising laminating a liquid film consisting of each of the resin solutions using a multilayer coextrusion die is formed on a support medium; and (2) a gel film forming process in which the obtained multilayer film is made a multilayer gel film having self supporting nature, wherein the outermost liquid film contacting with the support medium in two or more films composing the polyimide based multilayer film includes an imidization catalyst, and does not includes a chemical dehydrating agent, and an adhesion strength of the multilayer gel film formed on the support medium with the support medium is 0.2 kg/20 cm-2.4 kg/20 cm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
