<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer device that can reduce power consumption and can miniaturize an actuator. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 20 forecasts lateral acceleration working to a traveling vehicle by estimate operation based on a steering angle detected by steering angle sensor 21 and the vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor 22. An electric motor target position St is operated by FF control based on the forecasted lateral acceleration. A rotational position of an electric motor 19 is controlled so that the present position Si of the electric motor 19 detected by a motor position sensor 23 and the deviation ΔS with the electric motor target position St may become within the range of a threshold value e of a dead zone.
